in SEQUOIA and

KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKS

—FALL/WINTER 2007/08—

GENERALS HIGHWAY from Sequoia National Park entrance in Three Rivers to Wuksachi Lodge is OPEN YEAR-ROUND.

GENERALS HIGHWAY (“between the parks,” from Wuksachi Village in Sequoia to Hwy. 180 junction in Kings Canyon): OPEN.... but this section of road is subject to closure in the winter without notice for plowing during and after snowstorms (call (559) 565-3341 for current update). Priority for plowing is Amphitheater Point to Wuksachi Village on the Sequoia side and the Grant Village area on the Kings Canyon side. After a storm and when these roads are clear, plowing begins on the “between the parks” segment. Depending on snow depth, closures may be brief or lengthy.
