Maxine Murry: 1931 ~ 2016


Maxine Lillian Murry of Three Rivers died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016, with her loving family by her side. She was 84. 
A celebration of Mac’s life will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Three Rivers Memorial Building. 
Mac was born November 30, 1931, in French Camp to Marie and Eli Mines. She was raised in Fresno and attended Fresno High School and Fresno State. In 1954, she married her high school sweetheart, Ray Murry.
Mac was a 58-year resident of Three Rivers. For many years, she was employed by Three Rivers Union School. 
She was well known for her warm heart, endless smile, infectious laugh, and one of her many enjoyments, her maple trees. 
In October 2014, Mac was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ray. 
She is survived by her children, son Steve Murry and wife Linda; two daughters, Linda Murry Ruckman and husband Kerry and Lisa Jo Murry Schluep and husband David; her sister, Joreen Moore; two grandsons, Brandon Ruckman and Christopher Ruckman; and two great-granddaughters, Emma, Claire, and Cole.
