Jazzaffair starts
Friday afternoon and continues through
Sunday. Start your jazz weekend
a day early and attend the Three
Rivers Lions Recognition Night,
featuring a barbecued dinner and
live jazz. The barbecue starts at
5 p.m. Thursday. Reservations
are suggested for the barbecue.
Tickets: $15 (available at the event;
price not included in Jazzaffair
badge prices).
Recreational
vehicles are welcome. Parking is
available onsite at the Lions Arena
and at $40 is a great deal. Pumping
is available. Motor home parking
with complete hook-ups is also available
at three nearby private RV parks
on the scenic Kaweah River.
April is
the best time of the year in Three
Rivers, and the entrance to Sequoia
National Park is only six miles
away. Enjoy Jazzaffair, then visit
the giant sequoia groves and alpine
wilderness of the Sierra Nevada
mountains.
