MARCH 2015: Wildflowers are stopping the show up and down California. And that includes Three Rivers. People are traveling from near and far to hike a trail or take a windshield tour to view the palette of color carpeting the hillsides. While the hills are beginning to turn from green to gold in Three Rivers, wildflower season doesn't end. Instead the blooms climb higher and higher in elevation, making it a little more difficult to see them, but even more rewarding. Currently, peak bloom is at about 2,000 to 3,000 feet elevation. Here are a couple places to find them.
