WINTER WONDERS SNOWSHOE WALK
Saturday-Sunday, Feb. 16-17, noon-2 pm, Lodgepole Market. Guided snowshoe walks each weekend during winter. About 1 mile; easy; all ages. Free but bring snowshoes (available for rent at Lodgepole Market). First come, first served. Organized by Sequoia Parks Conservancy.
 
'HANSRAISER': A FUNDRAISER FOR HANS RADMACHER AND FAMILY
Saturday, Feb. 16, 3-10 pm, White Horse Inn, Three Rivers. Food, live music, silent auction, raffle. A recent vehicle accident has created financial hardship for Hans Radmacher, a resident of Three Rivers since childhood. With two young children, bills to pay, and mounting hospital/surgical/medical/recovery expenses, community members are invited to assist by participating in this fundraising evening where 100% of the proceeds will be provided to Hans and his family. Food served from 3-7 pm: The White Horse Inn will be serving its renowned House Special Salad with Crab-Stuffed Tomato ($10); children 12 and under will have homemade macaroni and cheese ($5). Homemade cake for dessert; cash bar. Live music by Buford Slag and special guests. Designated drivers will provide free transportation from the event.     ADDITIONAL WAYS TO ASSIST THE RADMACHERS: An online donation account has been set up (Google "Go Fund Me Hans Radmacher"), there are collection cans at several Three Rivers businesses for donations, and  there's a bank account at Valley Oak Credit Union specifically to provide assistance to Hans and family.
 
FOOD TRUCK SUNDAY
Sunday, Feb. 17, noon-4 pm, Main Squeeze Market, junction of Hwy. 198 at Woodlake turnoff, Lemon Cove. This week: Ramen by Tacos Lucha and Meat Over Barbecue. Everybody welcome, including kids and dogs.

Monday, Feb. 18, 1 pm, Assembly Room, St. Anthony Retreat Center, Three Rivers. A showing of the film Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day (2008), a comedy/romance starring Frances McDormand and Amy Adams. COMFORT FOR KIDS: QUILTING PROJECT
Tuesday, Feb. 19, 9 am-noon, Three Rivers Memorial Building. Volunteers are welcome to assist in making comforters that will be provided to seriously ill children at area hospitals. No experience necessary; donations of labor and materials are always welcome. Weekly through April. 561-4270.

Wednesday, Feb. 20, 1-2 pm, Three Rivers Arts Center. Constituents of the 23rd Congressional District are invited to share concerns with a staff representative on important issues and current events and discuss casework matters regarding issues with federal government agencies. 
 
TULARE COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION: UNIVERSITY PREPARATORY HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION NIGHT
